Most natural cheese is made from cow's milk. However, natural cheese may
also be made from the milk of animals such as buffaloes, goats, camels, or sheep.
Pasteurized processed cheese varieties are made by blending natural cheese with other
ingredients, and then heating the cheese to pasteurization temperatures. This type of
cheese is most often used on "cheeseburgers," or sold as singly wrapped slices
in the grocery store.
Natural and process cheese varieties come in flavors that range from mild
and buttery, to sharp, full bodied or nutty... something for every palate.
Today there are hundreds of different types of cheese that can be differentiated both by
the type of milk - raw, skimmed or pasteurised, and by the animal - cow, goat, sheep,
buffalo, horse or camel.
